Apple Crisp Sundaes
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 45 Minutes
You'll Need:
  • 1 Pint Prepared True Scoops Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • 1 Pouch True Scoops Salted Butterscotch Sauce Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Half & Half
  • 2 Medium or Large Apples, Chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 Cup Quick Cook Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup AP Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 4 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Golden Raisins or Chopped Dried Apricots (Optional)
  • Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F. In a bowl the oats, brown sugar, flour, spice, melted butter, and salt. Stir until the dry ingredients become evenly coated in butter
Bake the streusel mix on sheet pan spritzed with non-stick cooking spray for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Set aside to cool.
In a small sauce pan, prepare the salted butterscotch sauce by adding the Half & Half, salted butterscotch sauce mix, and pumpkin pie spice.
Once the butterscotch sauce is thickened, add the chopped apples and cook on simmer for 10 minutes or until the apples have softened, but still have bite. Set aside to cool.
Spoon the apple butterscotch sauce mixture onto the bottom of a sundae glass. Sprinkle a generous heaping of streusel, top with a scoop of ice cream, and drizzle with more butterscotch sauce and streusel. Serve immediately.
